Subtitling apps

Subtitling applications are programs that help to put captions or subtitle videos in other languages, or in the same language the video is made. Many are simple to use and a good way to spread the content of a video that talks about a specific topic.

It is possible to use video editing applications to place subtitles, but there are specific applications for this, even online. For example Aegisub, Subtitle Workshop, Jubler, Happy Scribe or Subtitle Edit.
